The Guggenheim Foundation has announced its list of 11 Guggenheim Photography Fellows for 2014. The list this time around seems particularly fitting and abundant (the last few years have averaged about half the number of awards). Two fine art photographers won the 2012 MacArthur Fellowship Grant: Uta Barth, An-My Le, photographer. As far as I can tell, its the first time two photographers were awarded the fellowship in the same year. Each winner each get $500,000 over the next five years, and are among the 23 Fellows for 2012.
