I’m pleased to announce that several of my fine art photographs are included in a museum exhibition with Ryan McGinley, Catherine Opie, Janine Antoni, Justine Kurland, LaToya Ruby Frazier and others in “the kids are alright, ” at the Addison Gallery of American Art, Andover, Massachusetts.
The show opens September 14, 2013 and runs through January 5, 2014.
My photographs in the show explore psychological, intimate relations between couples. I capture unguarded moments between people, and document them with unflinching clarity, taken directly from daily my life.
“the kids are alright” features photography and video created by 38 established and emerging artists who explore the contemporary family. The museum exhibition’s theme is today’s family is a complicated entanglement of people, is often unconventional, but are filled with poignant and humorous moments.
Alison Ferris, from the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan,Wisconsin, curated and organized the show, where the show originated; it also traveled to the Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro,N.C.
