Contemporary fine art photography: Judith Joy Ross at Pace/McGill
As the elevator doors opened to the ninth floor at fine art photography gallery Pace/McGill, I almost wasnt sure if I was at the right place: large, crystal-clear photos greeted me. But, yes, they were the new work of Judith Joy Ross, a photographer I’ve liked and followed since her crit visit to Yale University. I’ve loved her vets series and the ones from the Poconos so seeing these domestic scenes came as a bit of a shock.
