Fine Art Printer, Worked for Avedon: A Small Light Room

Always on the look out for photo printers, I recently came across an excellent one. Although Pascal Prince’s A Small Light Room, 41 Union Square, has focused on fashion (he printed for Avedon in the ’90’s), he’s been starting to work with fine art photographers, and would like to do more. He offers a free 20×24″ print to show how he works. What I like are his “Apple P” or straight output prints: a 40×50″ goes for $120, which sounds pretty good to me. He also does excellent custom work, and has a great daylight balanced neutral gray painted room which is perfect for color correction.
