Gabriela Herman’s portraits of bloggers, with their faces glowing in the beautiful glow of their computer screens, are chilling and interesting. They portent, for me, what I’ll call “Home Photography”, which like “Street Photography” of the Sixties and Seventies (Garry Winogrand, et al), show us the how we live today and how we spend our time. Unlike decades past, street life is minimal now; most time is spent indoors, and this type of photography is a rich mine of material. Thanks to Andy Adams Flak Photo’s posting.
