Curiously, though, the Festival had few actual photographs, and I was wondering if this was a portent of things to come. There were about three main exhibitions by some big name photographers, but the main attraction were the two nights of projected presentations held in a large tent downtown. Some photographers took the opportunity to make short films; others made a hybrid multimedia slideshow.
It was good to hear the voice of the artist-literally-and some of them were very effective.
My presentation and interview will be shown Saturday evening, June 11.
I hope you can attend—I’ll be there.
