I’m curious what film is the “most photographic” this year that is nominated for an Oscar? I’ve not seen all or even most of the nominations but I did see Tinker Tailor Solider Spy and loved the muted color pallet and dark look of the film. I heard the Tree of Life could be a contender in this category but I could not get through Days of Heaven, even though it was beautiful. Most or many Antonioni films work for me.
What others seem most photographic and influenced by contemporary fine art photography?
